Teledyne CML Composites Passes NADCAP Audit with Zero Non-Conformance Findings

Advanced composites manufacturer Teledyne CML Composites has completed a NADCAP audit on its Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) practices with no major or minor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) identified.

Teledyne CML Composites identified the need for NADCAP accreditation for Composites and NDT in January 2014 to support the current customer base and to meet the long-term growth ambitions of the company.  Ten months later, the company was awarded NADCAP accreditation.

General Manager John Toner explained, “Following the decision to seek NADCAP accreditation, we identified the necessary personnel and equipment we would need, along with a lot of hard work which enabled us to secure our initial goal very quickly.  We are pleased with the re-accreditation by NADCAP and thrilled with the style that our NDT team has achieved this.  They are a credit to the business and an indication of the importance that we place on the parts we manufacture for our customers.”

Teledyne CML Composites plans to continue its investment in people and equipment throughout the business with the NDT function a key focus.  In 2016, the number of NDT operators is set to double, and operators will receive training to uplift their individual NDT qualifications.  In addition, the footprint of the NDT department is set to increase as Teledyne CML Composites prepares to receive automated robotic inspection equipment.

Teledyne CML Composite’s performance during this process is just one example of the company’s commitment to providing quality parts and components for multiple industries and its dedication to continue meeting and exceeding customer standards.
