Size, weight, and power (SWaP) have long been key factors in Airborne applications, and the modern evolution of unmanned drones has only increased the importance of SWaP. Teledyne has supported a broad array of Airborne applications for decades, and we have been a leader in continually expanding the boundaries of SWaP for those applications. From composite materials to aircraft ejection seat sequencers and much more, Teledyne has played a key supporting role enhancing the safety and effectiveness of many renowned airborne platforms. Manufacturing to MIL specifications and beyond, Teledyne Defense Electronics (TDE) has developed products and technologies that help ensure situational awareness and operational effectiveness. For instance, before hardware considerations even arise, TDE has assisted with battlefield strategy development through co-authorship of the foundational EADSIM simulation environment.
